For all trips: one 5'11" and one 6'3" in a 7' board bag. I've bent over and
grabbed my ankles with Iberia a few more times too. Worst Airline on the planet.
Don't even think about surfing if you're traveling with Iberia unless you enjoy
drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon on your trip and washing dishes.
First Name: Eric
Airline: American Airlines

Departure: Orlando
Arrival: San Jose
Fee: 80
Type: Each Way
Message:
I had purchased a rountrip ticket for $190 including taxes and American tried to charge me $80 per board or $240 dollars each way for my boards. So I told them to stick it where the sun dont shine and cancelled my trip. Had just flown with them a few months prior and was charged $50 per bag with four boards in it.
First Name: Pete
Airline: Singapore
Date: sept 2005
Departure: nyc
Arrival: bali (via singapore)
Fee: $135
Type: Each Way
Message:
I was shocked to see Singapore Airlines on your very friendly airline list. When I went to check in, I was charged $135 per board, each way! They were all in one board bag, all under 6'8", and the agent opened my bag, undid all my protective packing in order to count the boards... I only had one other small bag to check too... There was no way to get a break from them... So yes, I paid $810 to bring my boards to/from on Singapore Air.
