3mm Gloves?

Transworld Surf is running an article about Jersey winter waves. "5/4 fullsuit with built-in hood, 7mm booties, 3mm gloves, vaseline smeared on your face, and you're good to go." Ok, 3mm gloves... not going to cut it, vaseline on the face... I don't think so.
